n State University faculty and students are producing an hour-long documentary film tentatively titled Farmers, Filming and Flint. It will extend the half-hour film The Kings of Flint. Great Lakes Echo is previewing some material for the extended version.
Week 4: The Youth Karate-Ka Association in Beecher near Flint, is one of hundreds of farms nationwide vying for free fruit trees from Edy’s Fruit Bars. Online voters determine the winners. Visitors to this site can vote once a day until June 30.
