Of course, any old timers on here can remember the ’76, ’77, ’78 years featured weather of near ice age magnitude so, no doubt Lake Superior was probably colder than normal at that time. What a convenience for those who want to make a point about it now being somewhere between 1.3 and 42 degrees warmer. (Actually, I’m glad to see no one has picked 42 degrees so far.)
