As Valentine’s Day draws to a close and we climb into bed each year, many of us can’t help but feel that we’re missing something.
If so, the Detroit Free Press has what we’ve been looking for all along–Michigan-themed Valentine’s Day cards.
Most of the catchy love notes focus on the environment, perfect for anyone wanting to celebrate both a special someone and Michigan’s scenery.
They mock everything from poor road conditions to wildly unpredictable weather patterns. And they draw it all to a fitting close with a beautiful sunset.
Sorry fellow Great Lakes states, but until your newspaper develops more of an appreciation for holiday humor, you’ll have to go on feeling empty.
