Which is why so many waste-related stories get passed around the Echo newsroom. Here’s the latest: Human waste-powered robots may be the future of machines. Apparently robots of the future will be self-sustaining and will refuel by grazing on organic matter like human waste.
Don’t ask me where they have to scavenge to recharge. (Perhaps the beach on a rainy day?)
I admit there’s a bit of a gross factor on that end, but the potential to refuel robots with organic matter is really cool. It would cut down on waste that would go to a landfill or sewage treatment plant, and robots wouldn’t need to rely on electricity.
Refuse to the rescue.
