Knight Center seeks MSU journalism students for paid reporting positions

MSU journalism students can get paid reporting jobs at Great Lakes Echo, the Knight Center’s award-winning  environmental news service.

Details:

  • These are paid positions.
  • Reporters typically work 6 to 10 hours a week
  • Schedule flexible during day
  • Physically located in MSU’s Knight Center office

Preferred candidates may have these, but none are required:

  • Record of previously published work
  • Interest in the environment
  • Multi-media experience

 Submit before Aug. 31, 2018:

  • One-page resume
  • Writing samples or links to them
  • A 100-word essay explaining why you’re right for the job
  • Three references with contact information
