The Great Lakes region is an adventurer’s paradise. Thousands of miles of scenic shoreline, glacier-carved cliffs and inland waterways provide countless destinations.

Great Lakes Echo recently profiled great natural features of each Great Lake State or Province — Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Ontario, Pennsylvania, New York, Wisconsin and Quebec.

Here’s your chance to weigh in on the greatest natural feature of the entire Great Lakes basin.

  1. I grew up on the shores of lake Michigan from the Dunes National Lake Shore to the shores of Grand Traverse Bay. I’ve been to 3 of the 5 great lakes & have enjoyed them. I believe them to be not just vital to our states but vital to our country & continent as well.
