Great Lakes Today reporter Veronica Volk answers a question frequently heard amid the flooding along Lake Ontario: Why does it take so long to lower the level of the lake?
Start a people movement..”LLOL” Lower lake Ontario Level. Anyone that goes to Lake Ontario/Lower Niagara River take a container fill it up with water take it home and empty on their lawn/garden/park etc… Keep it out of government hands. Look what they done about it so far?–sandbags! If a million people remove one gallon of water that 5 million gals less in the lake. There’s has to be a few million Canadians/Americas that live near/visit the lake daily. Pints, quarts, gals, liters etc,
all add up. Could be day, weekend, week long movement.
If most of the TV/Radio stations got behind this it give them something worth while to talk about.
