Consumers Energy’s oldest coal-fired plants in Michigan, known as the “Classic 7,” will be shut down by April 15 this year. Greening of the Great Lakes host Kirk Heinze talks with Brian Wheeler, the senior public information director for Consumers Energy, about these plant closings and what’s to come in Michigan energy.
