Echo rounds up most visited stories of 2014

Echo covers a number of environmental topics — some recurring, some one-time knock offs.

For 2014, we guessed that water may be readers’ favorites. But it only accounts for one-third of the year’s top 10 most-read stories. Others include stories about cold and wildlife. Here’s the list:

  1. The Single Biggest issue we need to address is the real effect of the NYPA ice boom which STALLS the natural conveyor within the Lower Great Lakes. This is damaging the entire ecosystem of all creatures great and small. If we don’t start a conversation and take action the problems will only get worse.
