The rower, canoeists and kayaker are still on the water, and the swimmers still have a few days before they cross Lake Michigan.

But the bikers have finished their journey around the Great Lakes.

Kris McNeal and Zach Chase covered more than 5,300 miles in 97 days, and became the first two people to bicycle the entirety of the Great Lakes and the St. Lawrence Seaway in a single season. They arrived in Duluth, Minn. last Saturday.

Echo featured McNeal and Chase, avid bicyclers from Duluth, before they left on their adventure. The two started May 1, heading northeast along the Lake Superior coastline.

Their next adventure is sedentary. The two plan to turn the video they shot of their trip into a documentary.
