This team aims to green up Bangor Township

(MI) Bay City Times -Bay County’s Bangor Township has a new group of grime fighters called The Green Team.

The nine-person team — which includes County Commissioner Ernie Krygier, Bangor resident Mike Bristow and Township Supervisor Terry Watson — has set out to educate residents about ways to help the environment and their pocketbooks.

The team’s first project involves making and distributing up to 2,000 rain barrels to residents, to allow them to capture rainwater from their roofs and use it for watering their gardens. More
