Maybe Michigan should consider becoming a leader in wind turbine tech in addition to the push we already have in battery manufacturing. The auto industry is not coming back to full strength any time soon if ever. We have a surplus of empty manufacturing facilities and many talented people looking for work. If we could make this work just not for the filtration plant but also for the city, we could show this is a viable option and get some talent and revenue for our communities.
