Birds Eye Foods working to remove iron from water

(MI) Grand Rapids Press – Birds Eye Foods Inc. is working with the city on a state grant to remove iron from Fennville’s muncipal water supply and to expand the system to neighboring Clyde and Manlius townships.

Fennville Superintendent of Public Works Gary Tuhacek said Thursday the funding would help pay to install six miles of water lines to cover areas with contaminated wells and for an iron-removal system for the city’s water plant. More
